Charity Ball Raises over £9,600 for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

On Saturday 15th March 2008 a Charity Ball took place in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice in the Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick.

Guests at this ball enjoyed a magnificent 3 course meal followed by a ballot and an auction with Jackie Fullerton as compere.

Entertainment was provided by "Nice Guy Eddie" and Sporting Images were in attendance to take individual and group photographs.

Sharon Gorman, Regional Community Fundraiser said " I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Shellagh Gault who organised this ball for us.

Last year Shellagh raised £10,900 by organising a school's showjumping event and we are thrilled that once again she has gone the "extra mile" to raise more funds for our Children's Hospice Service.

We require £1.8 million annually to provide specialist palliative care to over 250 children living with life limiting illnesses across the province and committed supporters like Shellagh help to make this fundraising target more achievable.

Many thanks also to Alistair McDonald, Dora Beacon, Nice Guy Eddie, John from Sporting Images and to all those who supported this fundraising event in any way.
