Northern Ireland Hospice Care has been named the Kennedy International North West 200’s official nominated charity for 2008.

As part of the NW200 Festival programme, we are organizing a number of charity events to take place during Race Week Saturday 10th May – Saturday 17th May 2008. See below for details.

Thursday 1st May

8:00pm - May Ball at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine.
Music by ‘YAP YAP YAP’. Tickets are priced at £40 per person. Formal dress

Sunday 11th May

10:30am - Sponsored Fun Run of NW200 circuit (9 mile)
11.00am - Sponsored Walk of NW200 circuit (9 mile)

Wednesday 14th May

10.00am – 3.00pm - Charity Golf Competition at Royal Portrush Golf Club. Contact Adele Kennedy on 028 7035 1177 for further details.

10.00pm – 1.00pm - Charity Concert with ‘Super Troopers’ (ABBA Tribute Band) in the Hospitality Marquee at the Paddock.

Tickets will also be available from the NW200 Information Office at the start and finish which is open daily from the 3rd May. Tickets will also be available at the Northern Ireland Hospice Marquee in the paddock area throughout Race Week. The hospice will charge an additional 50p for tickets which need to be posted out.

All Week Charity Activities at the NW200

As part of the event, volunteers will also be making bucket collections throughout Race Week at many of the NW200 events, including collecting around the circuit on Race Day and Practice nights.

You can also visit our marquee which will be situated in the paddock area where we will be selling merchandise, concert tickets and giving information about the charity and events taking place as part of the NW200 programme.
