Good food ambassador, celebrated chef and author Jenny Bristow rewinds to classic 1950s American diner charm to help serve up Northern Ireland Hospice Care’s Coffee Morning fundraising event which takes place on Thursday 7th June 2007.

And to help Coffee Morning hosts raise lots of ‘dough’ for the local charity, Jenny has created three wonderful tray bake recipes for budding chefs to prepare and sell on the day. The coffee, pear and brazil nut tart, buttermilk and vanilla scones, and Snickerdoodle recipes .

Meanwhile, event sponsor Bewley’s will provide complimentary coffee for every registered Coffee Morning event.

Jenny Bristow said: “We all like to take time for a cuppa everyday so let’s put one of them to good use for a good cause! I hope hundreds of people, businesses and organisations across Northern Ireland will have their kettles on standby on June 7th and donate a minimum of £1.50 per cuppa for a good cause, plus a little extra if they decide to serve up one of my delicious tray bakes.”
