For Patients and Carers

Northern Ireland Hospice Care offers free complementary therapies to patients and their carers consisting of therapeutic touch, reflexology, Indian head massage, therapeutic massage, reiki and red cross therapeutic touch. All therapies are provided by qualified staff and volunteers.

Complementary therapies are being used alongside traditional medical practice and the benefits are becoming increasingly more recognised.

Benefits described by clients include stress relief, pain relief, decreased anxiety, relaxation, and a general sense of well being.

Qualified staff and volunteers are happy to discuss individual needs with patients and tailor a therapy to suit.
