Director of Development and Corporate Services appointed |

Eddie Magowan has been appointed Director of Development and Corporate Services for Northern Ireland Hospice Care. A certified accountant with 20 years experience, Eddie held senior finance roles with local utility NIE and served as Commercial Director on the board of IT group Sx3 prior to joining leading UK software developer, First Software Limited in 2000 as Finance Director. More recently he has worked in the local Further Education sector and with the NI Civil Service.
Eddie hopes to bring a fresh approach to corporate planning within the Hospice. He said: "I am delighted to be working with such a committed group of people who are acknowledged leaders in the palliative care field. It is an exciting time for Northern Ireland Hospice Care and 2006 will bring further positive changes, allowing the charity to build on a solid foundation and ethos to address the evolving needs of patients and their families." |
